You Just Got Served

I am on the Freshman tennis team at my school. If you had asked me a year ago about playing tennis i would have laughed in your face... but over the summer I decided to give it a shot. So I showed up to tryouts with no experience and nothing but a $20 tennis racket in my hand. Let's just say that the first few weeks were, well, interesting. Everyday I wanted to give up but I kept coming back. Four Months Later I am so glad that I stuck with it. I have grown so much, met some of my closest friends, and taught myself a lesson about pushing myself to do hard things.

Thanks so much to my fabulous coaches for helping even when I was capable of nothing. And for my amazing team for always making me smile and for a great season.

EFY

This year I was able to go to EFY for the first time and I LOVED it. For those of you who don't know EFY stands for Especially For Youth, it is basically a church camp where you an take classes and meet tons of awesome new people. It was such a faith-building experience for me and I recommend it to anyone who is able to go. Here is a recap of my experience.

This is my friend Nicole. She came along with me and she was an awesome friend to hang
around and to have as a room mate.

Dances were crazy due to the fact that there were 1,700 kids up at BYU for EFY that week.

Our company was The Inseperables and we were the greatest company to ever live. ( A company is a group of kids that you go everywhere with. you are assigned a company but by the end of they week they become your best friends.)

This is undoubtedly my favorite picture of the whole week.

Cookies & Cream milk. enough said

The rest of the pictures are all on the last day with my company.
My counselors Mandy and Amber. The dream girls.

Mandy's Girls

This is Jessie. She has become one of my very best friends and I miss her more than anything. Heaven knows if I am ever in Texas I will be with this chic the whole time.

My three amigos. They were my posse for the week.

EFY was seriously the greast week ever for me and I can't wait til next summer when I can do it all over again. I miss everyone I met so much and will always remember #efy2014provo6a .
